Lung Cancer Diagnosis :


1)   Medical history.

2)   Physical examination to find any lung problems or swollen lymph nodes.

3)   Chest x-ray to detect enlarged lymph nodes in the chest.

4)   Sputum cytology to find abnormal cells that are present in mucus.

5)   CT scan to follow up on an abnormal chest x-ray finding.

6)   Bronchoscopy to take a biopsy of cells from airway.

7)   MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) to evaluate the possibility of lung cancer.
